Ruwais Marine Services (RMS) faced operational challenges in tracking attendance for employees working in multiple remote locations. Traditional fingerprint systems and manual logs were inefficient and unreliable, especially for field-based teams. The company needed a secure, IoT-based attendance system that works seamlessly without complex hardware installations.

iSmart developed the RMS HR App, an intelligent attendance and HR management solution built on ERP and Odoo frameworks. The app was designed to simplify attendance tracking, streamline HR requests, and enhance employee accountability, all through mobile access.

• Smart login and logout: Automatically captures employees’ geographic location using Google Maps integration, ensuring transparency for remote and field workers.
• Hours tracking: Records total working hours accurately for each employee.
• Leave management: Employees can submit leave requests directly through the app; approvals are processed by both the HR manager and direct supervisor.
• Secure access: Each employee logs in using a unique, fixed job number. If an issue arises, a new number can be securely reprogrammed,adding an extra layer of protection.
• Cloud-based integration: Built on ERP + Odoo architecture for data accuracy, synchronization, and scalability.
